Fairfield Behavioral Health Services is seeking an energetic, fast learning, flexible
professional with an excellent work ethic to join our treatment team. Must have
proficient skills in Microsoft Word, time management, record keeping, customer
service, communication, and organization. Must be able to articulate specific experience
and familiarity with the ASAM criteria, substance use disorders detailed in the DSM V,
Pharmacology for alcohol tobacco and other drugs, Medicaid fee structure for
Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services and with conducting biopsychosocial
assessments, individual, group, and family sessions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments & behavioral health screenings.
• Direct case management for outpatient clients.
• Crisis Intervention
• Coordinate appropriate referrals of clients
• Individual and group counseling.
• Record keeping on an Electronic Health Record system (Carelogic).
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related human service field.
• At least one (1) year of counseling experience in alcohol and drug abuse/behavioral health
treatment and/or case management.
• Certified as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ADC) with the Addictions Professionals of South
Carolina.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary $42,000 -45,000 based experience
